2009 U.S. Amateur Preliminary RoundSeptember 17-19, 2010
As the Governing Body of Amateur Pool, the American Pool players Association (APA) is honored to conduct the U.S. Amateur Championship®. Since the inauguration of this event in 1994, the level of competition continues to increase year after year. With the quality of play, enthusiasm for the game, and sportsmanship displayed each year, the U.S. Amateur Championship® has become the nation’s most prestigious amateur event. This year marks the 16th Annual U.S. Amateur Championship® event. Those who enter this event will experience the highest level of amateur billiard play in the United States. Therefore, the U.S. Amateur Championship® is only intended for the finest amateur players. The competition will be relentless, and every match won will be well deserved. If you think you’ve got what it takes to be the next U.S. Amateur Champion, we encourage you to enter this event and find out!
2010 Fall Regional
October 2-3, 2010
Singles Qualifiers can be held at any Host Location. This event consists of the 8-Ball Classic and the 9-Ball Shoot-Out. Players from Dayton Ohio who have won a local qualifying tournament in window 1 (Jan. 1 - June 15) will converge on Columbus to compete against other players in the Great Lakes area. This is the final step before advancing to the $350,000 Vegas National Singles Championship. Winners from each skill group will receive $300.00 in travel assistance to try their hand in Vegas! In Vegas players will again play other players of there skill level.
2011 Spring Regional March 5-6, 2011

In Vegas players will again play other players of there skill level
6th Annual Ohio State Tournament
5-8 Players per team, Maximum comined Skill level cannot exceed 23. Must be on a Spring Roaster and have a handicap based on 10 8-Ball scores. Mix & Match Any Ohio Players. Modified Single Elimination, Sudden Death Rules, National Tournament Rules, 2 Table format on all Sunday Matches. Team Entry Fee last year 2009 was $200 (subject to change) with $3,000 1st place based on 64 teams,
32 teams will collect money. Tournament Starts the 19th at 6PM with a Captain Meeting at 5:45PM.
